The fundraiser was again a success on Friday, with many of the home-baked goods being snapped up in the name of cord blood funding and research.
The group’s cord blood co-ordinator Jenny Brumfield said more residents were becoming aware of the issue.
“Children with blood illnesses, in particular acute leukaemia, have been the main focus of cord blood research,” she said.
The stall is held each year to generate vital money, as well as raise awareness within the Leeton shire community about the benefits of cord blood.
Also helping the kitty to tick over this year was a number of merchandise items that were up-for-grabs.
