In their first match in the round of 64 they will play host to Eastern Suburbs’ Dunbar United.
YSC coach Luke Santolin said a quick start would be paramount.
“If we can get the first two or three passes clean, good things happen so that’s what we’ve been working on at training,” he said.
While it will no doubt be a hectic couple of weeks with plenty of State Cup action, Santolin said his side will be up for the challenge.
“We dont have the liberty of making big changes so it can be a good and bad thing,” he said.
“We are always two or three injuries away to being into the kid.
“That’s just something we'll have to work with.
“Like every team, we’ll have our challenges.”
The match will take place at Hanwood Oval on Sunday.
The game is due to kick off at 9am.
