The Axtills – Matt (3) and Chelsea (2) – bagged five goals between them as Lucy McMaster and Karen Haskens chipped in one each.
Hannah Ellis was a stand-out in the losing side.
The second game saw Vic Hotel win 6-1 against Pinnacle with Leigh Whytcross (3) Shelley Day (1), Nikita Sutton (1) and Sharon Foster (1) scoring for the winners.
Rachel Baird was Pinnacle’s lone goal-scorer.
The men kicked off with Bob Jane and Exies doing battle.
Despite a big effort from Exies’ Blake Wiseman, the side wasn’t able to stop Zac Ruediger and Neil Burke – who scored a goal each – as Bob Jane won 2-nil.
Leeton Soldiers and Astral Pool played a very exciting game finishing with Leeton in front 4-3. Dave Haskins, Jarryd Day, Mat Axtill and Natasha Greenshields scored for Leeton. Astral’s goal-scorers were Paul Milne, Jakob Shirt and Bryce Hoskinson.
