My father had a lengthly stay at Griffith Base and the care that he received from doctors, nurses, domestic staff and wards man were very caring and professional.
Everyone gave beyond their line of duty, not only to my dear father, but their care and support extended to myself and the rest of the family.
When my father was in need of further medical attention, arrangement were made immediately for him to be transported to Wagga Wagga Rural Hospital.
The attention he received there from the specialists and nurses was tremendous.
We had no hesitation in leaving him in their care for we were assured that he will be well taken care of. And he was.
We are very fortunate to have Griffith Base Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Hospitals that give so much importance to the patient's needs and requests.
They fully consult with family members to make sure that the patients needs are met and that the family understands the medical procedures and process.
I and my family are very grateful for the care given to my father.
Please accept this as a personal thank you to everyone at Griffith Base Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Hospital.

State of disrepair
WHAT a mess our nation is in as we watch it day-by-day going even further into disrepair and financial ruin.
We have a coalition government with a fixation with helicopter rides - first Bronwyn and now Barnaby, both claiming an urgency of needing to be somewhere in a hurry, at great expense.
We have a leader whose decisions are never two days alike, a party indecisive not sure what it wants and where it is going.
We have an opposition party promising the electorate the earth with no money (in the kitty) to pay for it.
The Greens are a spent force and the future of the independents is shaky.
Yet despite all this, we the voters are expected to go to the polls in July and support these so called managers of our future well being.
Already we owe a fortune in debt, are borrowing over a million dollars a day just to stay afloat and are as unstable as it can get.
As one man was quoted as having said Tony Abbott was tossed aside for someone who has turned out just to be a show pony. It sure as hell is shaping up to look this way.
If the government is put to confusion imagine how the voters, right now, are feeling. They certainly can't possibly have a sense of security with a government insecure in itself.
The very thought of Labor getting another strangle hold on the economy after their previous disastrous downfall sending us broke is enough to send shivers down the electorates' spines.
Yet again what is the present government doing to ease such uncertainty. They thought Tony Abbott was a risk and yet they chose what we are saddled with now - indecisive people running the show and going nowhere in particular.
The finale, fast approaching in July, gives cause for action, honestly and a leader (that leads) not pussyfoots around and decisions now so that the people can have informed choices.
As it stands no one knows what is what and Malcolm Turnbull needs to realise he cannot please all the people all of the time and therefore must make decisions and run with them.
People prefer strength of character in action more favourable than palaver.
