IT'S official: Brenda Zandona has been branded Australia's biggest Adam Brand fan after her illuminating efforts to win ukulele lessons off the country music star.
The Yenda woman last week won Sony's There Will Be Love competition for spelling out her love for the singer in 200 glow sticks on her mother's Gordon Street fence.
Despite her impressive efforts, Mrs Zandona said she was shocked when she was told she had won the competition.
"A guy from Sony rang last Tuesday to tell me and my heart nearly came out of my mouth," she said.
"I had to take a seat and ask him to repeat himself."
Mrs Zandona also painted the words "There Will Be Love" the title of Mr Brand's latest album on the fence and created a sign bearing the message.
Over 600 photos were entered in the competition but Mrs Zandona said she believed she won it because her entry stayed up for the entire contest.
"It's still up now and people always notice it," she said.
"Adam said he thought it was awesome."
For winning the competition, Mr Brand will hand-deliver a ukulele to Mrs Zandona and teach her how to play the instrument.
"I'm not very good with musical instruments so I'll be a challenge for him," she said.
This won't be the first time Mrs Zandona has met Mr Brand as she runs his Team Brandwagon fan page but she said it was thrilling to have him come down to Griffith.
