They clashed with a second-placed Leagues side who had handed Coro two of their three losses this season.
Coro captain Haydn Pascoe said the minor premiership wasn’t that important.
“I don't really care where we finish on the ladder to be honest,” he said.
“It all comes down to how well you play in the finals.”
Coro felt the pinch early on after they won the toss and elected to bat.
Rob Rand (1) was sent packing after just two balls and Tim Rand (0) was out the very next ball off the bowling of Hardeep Singh.
Jono Morris (6) fell shortly after to leave Coro at 3-12.
Like so many times this season it was Tom Valeri (29) and Pascoe (15) who got things back on track.
On a pitch that provided a bit of extra bounce for the bowlers the pair made things look easy.
They put on 41 before Paul Plummer got them both in quick succession.
At 5-54 and with two new batsmen at the crease, Leagues were on top.
Brady French (20) looked unsettled to start with but fought through the rough patch to put Coro in a position to post a defendable total.
He and Chris Mansell (14) put on 26 but another two quick wickets left them 7-80.
French was still at the crease and helped his team to 98 before they were bowled out. Jimmy Binks finished with figures of 4-18.
Chasing the small total proved difficult and opening bowlers Mansell and Alex Flood made it even harder.
Between the two, they cleaned up five of the top six in the order, which included a one-handed catch to a diving Sam Bryant.
Like Coro, it was a middle order partnership that got Leagues back in the game.
Ben Leach (8) and Dan Bozic (32) put on 25 before Pascoe cleaned up Leach with the last ball before drinks.
Bozic was the only batsman who looked comfortable at the crease.
The game could have been over a lot earlier if Flood had kept his foot behind the line with a ball that Bozic popped up to a fieldsman.
Leagues were bowled out for 67. Pascoe was pleased with the performance.
“Catching was good, fielding was good, bowling was exceptional especially defending a low total,” he said.
“It's been good that Tom's been scoring runs all year but you're going to have those games where you don't score runs and we need someone else to step up.”
