He’s now been nominated for a V Music ‘Discover’ award.
He’s one of four artists up for the award.
He was excited about the nomination.
“I'm cheering to have been selected amongst all of the hot new music out there,” he said.
“I'd be over the moon if I ended up on high rotation shortly before the release of my EP.”
It doesn’t stop there as he is set to tour Germany early next month.
Stops include Hamburg and Berlin, so It’s safe to say that Yates is on the up and up.
