The 13-year-old competed at the NSW Junior and Youth Athletics Championships in Sydney from February 6-7.
Sara blitzed the field to claim gold medals in all five events she competed in.
Sara went in to the titles with high hopes – she wanted to place in her events – but was stunned to perform so well.
The Marian Catholic College student will next compete at the Australian Junior and Youth Athletics Championships in Perth in March.
Several athletes were attending another event in Canberra instead of the championships which thinned the field.
Sara was dissapointed by this but still happy with her efforts.
“More competition would have been great for me to improve my PBs (personal bests) but at the same time, knowing I achieved the qualifying times and distances in all five events was a boost,” Sara said.
The events that Sara won gold in were the 100, 200, 400 and 800 metres running races and long jump.
