Latevo International will head into next week’s women’s division three elimination final as favourites after easily accounting for itravel Griffith 10-4 on Monday.

itravel Griffith sat in second position on the congested ladder before the final round match but the loss saw them drop to fourth.
They will now meet Latevo International for the second time in as many weeks as women’s division 3/4 splits up for finals.
The first-half suggested that the match would be a tight, tense affair as Latevo International took a slender 4-2 lead into the break.
Latevo International broke the shackles in the second half to streak away from its opponents.
Latevo set the tone straight away when they charged up the field and scored through Isabelle Wood in the opening drive of the half.
itravel Griffith hit back shortly after when Jeanette Wardle crossed but there wouldn’t be many more highlights for itravel in the half.
Latevo International were back in the scoring zone as Niamh Wood planted the ball down over the line and from there the women went on a rampage.
Melissa Jasnos was next to cross for Latevo International after backing up Corinne Farronato who showed a quick set of heels to slice through from dummy-half.

Down 7-3, itravel Griffith were down but not out and continued to probe the line but weren’t able to convert possession into points.
Three more tries to Latevo via Louise Hill, Isabelle and Niamh Wood put a win out of reach for itravel Griffith.
itravel’s Stephanie Wardle scored the last try of the night as Latevo won the match comfortably.
In other women’s divison 3/4 matches, Tropeano Harvesting/Piccinin Plasterworks downed J & C Foods 8-1, Natrad beat S.J.R. Industries 11-5 and DQ Electrical/Lakesview Citrus accounted for Griffith R.E. 11-1.
