There is just four players returning from the side that beat Ardlethan-Barellan last week.
Player availability and the O’Farrell Cup being held on the same weekend had forced the change in the lineup.
The strain of fielding two sides on the one weekend could derail a town but Creet Cup captain Scott Smith said Griffith had enough players to put together two quality sides.
“We definitely have the quality of players (in Griffith to field two sides). It just depends if players make themselves available,” Smith said.
“Some players don’t make themselves available because they are away or working or just don’t want to play.
“The committee, they knew it was going to be an issue and they made it aware of us weeks ago but we should get two competitive teams together.”
And Griffith have done just that.
Despite only having four players from last week’s Creet clash, the faces that come into the side are all familiar ones.
The majority of the players coming into the side have played representative cricket for Griffith in some capacity.
Smith said the new players were coming into a must win match.
“We probably do need to win this match, just as I said to the boys before last Sunday’s match – ‘we need to win, losing isn't an option’,” Smith said.

“We got across the line last week and this Sunday it’s a do or die match.
“Every game from here on in will be like a final.”
Griffith sit second on the Creet Cup ladder, narrowly in front of Hay with two rounds remaining.
Leeton will be Griffith’s biggest test to date.
The neighbouring town hasn’t dropped a match this season. Last week, Leeton beat Hay – who Griffith lost heavily to – by six wickets.
Griffith has hit form though after they beat Ardlethan-Barellan last week by three wickets.
In that match Smith steered the ship home for Griffith with 20 not out – batting from the unusual position of number seven.
