The woman plans to spend her first division share winnings by going shopping.
“I’m shaking at the moment,” she said. “Winning first division is kind of shocking, but shocking in a great way. Wow, what an amazing start to 2016.”
The woman said she won’t be a multi-millionaire for long, with plans to buy a house and a new car.
“I’ll also have to go on a little shopping spree too,” she said. “I can do whatever I want now.”
The winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Griffin Plaza Newsagency.
Throughout Australia, there were fifteen entries that won a first division prize of $2 million in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw.
Along with the winning ticket purchased in Griffith, an additional three division one winning entries were sold in New South Wales, two were from Queensland, five from Victoria, one from South Australia and three were sold in Western Australia.
