The Country Education Fund have put the call out to 16-21 year olds looking into post-secondary education for 2016 to apply for one of their grants.

These grants are awarded to students such as apprentices or university students.
Lachlan Webb knows how much the grants help during study as he received a grant worth $1500 (as well as a $1500 co-contribution from his university) for 2015 through the program.
“It's gone towards my rent and every little bit helps and it's a load off my mind a little bit,” he said.
“I'm studying mechanical engineering at UNSW and it’s going really well.
“You're not stressing as much because you do have that financial burden off your mind and you can really focus on your studies.”
Over a four year period the Country Education Fund has supported 57 Griffith students, to a total of $34,439.
Secretary/treasurer of the Griffith CEF Jane McGrath said the fund was about being able to lend a helping hand.
“It’s not something that’s based on scholastic ability, but more so on a needs basis,” she said.
Application forms can be found on the CEF website and applications close January 7.
