The 12-year-old finished fourth place in four events at the games, all whilst she battled a bout of the flu.
Sara managed a fifth and sixth placing in her other two events and recorded personal best times in all races except the 200 metres freestyle.
Sara had to withdraw from her last scheduled race, the four by 50 metre freestyle relay, due to a late change in the program.
