There was a good offering of finished lambs available, along with the plainer types.
Not all the usual buyers were present and competing. Trade and heavy weight new season lambs sold from $120 to $138/head. Old light lambs averaged $90/head.
Trade weight lambs ranged in price from $105 to $126/head. Heavy lams received from $132 to $139, with extra heavy weights selling from $137 to $151/head. Carcase prices mostly ranged between 525c and 556c/kg cwt. Mutton numbers were limited and quality was mixed.
Merino ewes sold from $71 to $88/head.
Crossbred ewes averaged $83 and Dorper ewes averaged $100/head.
