Anthony Ippoliti was on fire when he defeated Vince Staltare in three, and Phil Priest also performed well to defeat David Parrot in four.
Kay Cunningham kept Nissan’s finals hopes alive with a win against Jason Cooney before Adam Taylor defeated Matt Kirkman in four and helped his side finish equal fourth on the ladder with Subaru.
A countback of winning rubbers throughout the competition was needed to separate Subaru and Nissan, but when rubbers were also equal, a count of all competition points saw Nissan snatch a finals berth by only 12 points.
Tomorrow night, Peugeot will play Toyota in the major semi-final, with the winner qualifying for the grand final.
The sudden-death final will see former leaders Mazda take on Nissan.
