Griffith Swans under 17s coach Gary Argus believes attitude, not talent, will determine his team's fate in Sunday’s elimination final against the Wagga Tigers in Narranadera.

The Swans lost their first Riverina Football League finals match last week to Coolamon after producing what Argus labelled a poor performance.
He said his side’s season would come to a swift end if it reproduced the display against the Tigers.
“Our boys were very poor (against Coolamon). We trained bad in the lead-up to the game and played bad,” he said.
“As a coach, it’s a bit hard to turn that around (on the day).
“You can make changes, but you can’t go changing everything.
“If they’re not there (mentally), they’re just not there.
“But I had a good talk to the boys at training on Tuesday and they’re fired up for this week.
“If all goes well we’ll knock the Wagga Tigers off.”
The Swans haven’t lost to the Tigers this season, but Argus said that record didn’t entitle his team to success on Sunday.
“Finals are different,” he said.
“We’ve got a couple of boys who are sore after last week, but we’ve also got a couple coming into the side.
“For me, it has a lot to do with attitude on the day.”
Thanks to the Coolamon loss, Argus said his players were aware of what would happen if they didn’t turn up in the right frame of mind.
“Now they know what they have to do to win,” Argus said. “If we can have another good night on Thursday (at training) hopefully that can happen.”
The winner of the match will play the loser of the Mangoplah-CUE v Coolamon clash.
