Aided by navigators Tanya Guest and Michael Horley, Ryan won the club day by 6mins17sec from Swan Hill’s Jonathon Simmonds.
The Goolgowi driver worked hard for the victory after replacing a blown hose and fixing two plug leads that were causing misfires and power loss during the race.
Debutant Karl Power (Goolgowi) finished outright third with Chloe Power and Chris Brown taking turns in the navigator’s seat.
The event was a good shake down for teams and their vehicles ahead of the third round of the ARB Off Road Racing series in Millicent, South Australia, at the end of September.
The club thanks all volunteers for their support. Full results at www.offroadracing.com.au
