Wests are looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Yoogali FC last week which was their third loss in four games.
With four rounds to go, Wests hold a five point lead over fourth placed Yoogali FC but could give up third position if they don’t regain some of their early season form.
A win would solidify their position and put them one win away from an almost guaranteed home semi final.
Despite their different ladder positions both sides still have plenty to play for.
Griffith City have been mathematically ruled out of the finals, their focus will no doubt turn to avoiding the dreaded wooden spoon.
They currently sit in second last place, on equal points with last placed Yenda.
Griffith City’s for and against is better than Yenda’s by just one goal.
A heavy loss could relegate them to last position.
