The performance in question is KROP (Kids Rapt on Performing), a school spectacular now in its 11th year.
The show is a time for K-12 students to shine in all aspects of performing arts.
KROP producer Robyn Schmetzer said she was amazed by the talent in this year’s cast.
“It grows each year and I'm astounded every year by the talent that presents itself,” she said.
“Every year I think it can't get any better and then someone else pulls a trick out of the bag.”
She said the variety in the show will be amazing.
“It involves all aspects of performing arts, from music, singing, drama and dance,” she said.
“We have a band coming over from Ardlethan and they play all their own music with no backing tracks and they're doing The Beatles this year.
“We've got schools that have done interpretative and creative dance.
“Griffith Public have included some drama in theirs and they have a character in it called Tom Cruise, he goes to Bollywood this year.”
The most notable thing about the show might well be that for the most part, the students will run things.
“Many of the dances are choreographed by the children,” Ms Schmetzer said.
“Yenda’s especially, they've got a section in there about fire and water and the two main characters have choreographed their whole steps.”
“It's produced all by children, the props, the lighting, all the backstage directions for the show.
“They go home pretty tired after Friday and will probably sleep through most of Saturday.”
She said there was one performance especially that she thought would go over quite well with the audience.
“We have some very cute children,” she said.
There's one especially from Yoogali who comes on and has to be very sad and dejected about going to school, and believe me he is very sad and dejected,” she said.
The shows take place at the Griffith Regional Theatre on Thursday and Friday at 6pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students.
