The workshop was run by cast members of ERTH's Dinosaur Zoo.
Gallery Coordinator Ray Wholohan said it was a great success.
“It was the best turnout for a children’s workshop since I’ve been here,” he said.
“Each kid got to take away a puppet that they made and they also got to learn a bit about pre-historic times.”
He said it was great to see the kids enjoy themselves.
“It was fun, lively and very stimulating for the kids,” he said.
“There was also some theatrics to the day as the cast members acted out a few scenes with a velociraptor and the giant bugs.”
