The Royal Flush in the BSR Cable Park sends riders soaring into the air – an experience some have described as like flying, while others have called it a watery nightmare – into a 4.9-metre pool.
The video was posted on YouTube two weeks ago by ROUND III Media and has been viewed by more than 12 million people and received more than 28,000 likes.
It features young bikini-clad females and fit-looking males speeding down three giant slides, putting on acrobatic displays as they fly through the air from ramps and splash into a gigantic clay-bottom pool below.
Acrobatics and BMX stunts are on display in this slow-motion, highly-stylised video that features a lot of high-fives and even a cute puppy.
Double flips, triple flips, man and dog sliding on an inflatable tube, selfie sticks: the video has put the new waterslide on the map.
BSR Cable Park is located in Waco, Texas. Construction of The Royal Flush water slide was completed in April.
An all day Royal Flush pass costs $US15 and rider must be at least six years old. See www.bsrcablepark.com/royal-flush-slide.
