FLIPPING a coin might be the best way of deciding who will win between Yoogali Football Club and Hanwood Juniors in their semi-final tomorrow night, such is the closeness of both outfits.
With the Griffith football season entering its most important month, there is practically nothing separating the sides as they enter their must-win clash at Hanwood Oval.
Hanwood Juniors have easily been the biggest beneficiary of the first season of the Regional Premier League, having gone from just a single win in 2011 to securing third position this year.
In the club's three game series to date this year, the honours have been split down the middle, with Juniors winning their first clash in round four 2-1, before the men in gold snuck across the line 1-0 in round before. Their round 18 clash was a nil-all draw.
Both teams will posses players experienced in big games, with the likes of Luke and Paul Ellis, Kyle Favero and Tim McIntosh leading from the front for Juniors.
However, with their RPL commitments having been over for several weeks, Yoogali FC has shown it is willing to mix up its side, but with finals eligibility rules now in place, the line-up tomorrow should have a distinctly more local feel to it.
