The barrier draw for the feature race was conducted on Tuesday morning with the majority of the city visitors all drawing well.
Sydney trainer Chris Waller will bring two horses for the Cup and came up with the inside barrier for Our Voodoo Prince and defending champion Trade Commissioner came up with gate 14.
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Gypsy Diamond, a last start Randwick winner, came up with barrier nine.
Albury Gold Cup winner, Kourkam, trained by Tony McEvoy, drew wide in barrier 15.
Wagga will be reprented by Jo Jo Girl, Devised and Yet Tobe Convinced.
It also has the three emergencies in Heysen, The Boondock Saint and Mr Sommerville.
Tumut trainer Kerry Weir has Sand Dune in the field, while leading Albury trainer Brett Cavanough will be represented by Price Of Glory.
Wagga trainer Scott Spackman was thrilled to gain a start with his mare, Yet Tobe Convinced.
“I’m over the moon,” Spackman said.
“This is what we were aiming for after the championships, this is her next step.
“I know it’s not going to be easy but we’re in it.”
Murrumbidgee Turf Club president Stuart Lamont was thrilled with the Cup field, particularly the evenness of the 16 runners.
The Cup will be run at 4.25pm on Friday.
