LEETON businesses will pause to honour slain Leeton High School Stephanie Scott today, as she is laid to rest in her hometown of Canowindra.

Ms Scott, 26, was due to wed her partner of five years Aaron Leeson-Woolley the Saturday after she disappeared.
Her charred body was found the day before the planned wedding, in the Cocoparra National Park.
Vincent Stanford was arrested and charged with Ms Scott’s murder.
Ms Scott’s funeral will take place at the function centre were she was to be married.
Leeton, Ms Scott’s adopted town has been traumatised by Ms Scott’s murder – local businesses have planned the closure, from 1pm to 2pm, as a mark of respect for the popular teacher.
Leeton residents will gather at Mountford Park at 1pm for a lunch to remember Ms Scott.
