A Triple-0 call at 7.40pm on Tuesday night alerted authorities there was a blaze at Complete Traffic Solutions.
Within minutes crews from Fire and Rescue NSW were on the scene.
The blaze had started in the unoccupied, eastern side of the building but was quickly contained, according to duty commander for Fire and Rescue NSW Andrew Ticehurst.
“Within an hour the fire was pretty much put out and extinguished but we continued on just to deal with any hot spots that were still present,” he said.
“We do have concerns that it may be suspicious because it was unoccupied and there have been numerous break-ins to do with the building in the preceding months leading up to this event.
“The swift response allowed the fire to be stopped quite quickly and the majority of the damage to be contained to the eastern end.”
