A FIVE-METRE tall giraffe has escaped from Altina Wildlife Park.
Gloria Altin, owner of the park, said Kito escaped at 9am.
“He was last seen heading towards the Darlington Point township,” Mrs Altin said.
“He is heading through bushland and should arrive in the town about lunchtime.”
Mrs Altin said the park had people searching for Kito.
“We have our search parties going out with all the equipment on board to tranquilise Kito.”
She asked anyone who saw the giraffe to call the park on 0412 060 342.
