“There has been very little spent,” Mrs Dalton said.
She said the city’s hospital was in desperate need of an upgrade.
“The hospital is looking run down,” she said.
“If you’re going to retire and you’ve got a health condition you’re not going to go to Griffith, you’ll go to Wagga.”
Mrs Dalton said she could not understand why the region had again been overlooked for a prostate nurse.
“We should have at least five nurses travelling around the electorate,” she said.
Mrs Dalton said she was standing as an independent because she was “sick and tired of being regarded as a second class citizen”.
She said the region’s ice epidemic was also extremely concerning.
