Gunner John Moule-Probert, Service Number NX10894.
Born: November 15, 1901 in Melbourne Victoria.
Enlisted: May 20, 1941 at Paddington in NSW. His locality was listed as Griffith. Gunner Moule-Probert served in the 2/15 Field Regiment.
He died at Sandakan, Borneo on May 10, 1945.
His next of kin was listed as Nora Moule-Probert.

Mrs Moule-Probert, Griffith, has been advised by the Army authorities that her husband, Gnr John William Moule-Probert, MC, 8th Division, died from illness in April last whilst a prisoner of war in Borneo.
The late Gnr Moule-Probert was in the 8th Hussars (Eng) in the early part of World War I.
He was captured again by the enemy but escaped.
Then he joined the RAF in which he gained the MC.
Twice he enlisted in World War II.
First he served with the AID in the Middle East but was discharged on account of his age.
However, he was able to serve again with the 8th Division.
He had a dry holding in the Rankins Springs district and late was in business in Yambil Street.
Besides his widow, he left behind two young sons.
