“It's family oriented entertainment, lots of food and drinks, it's an event that shows the history of Griffith but also what pioneers had to endure so that we could become the community that we are today,” he said.
“That's what our exhibitions are mainly about but action day is about bringing it to life and having as many olden day experiences for our visitors, for families to be able to share that type of experience together.
“Old style engines that run on different fuels like kerosine rather than our normal petrol, horse driven vehicles and we'll hopefully have a coach if we can get the Clydesdales here.”
