The Tigers will get their first chance to stamp their authority at Wade Park when they take on Leeton on Saturday in round one of the Billabong Cup.
Yenda coach Rhys Jones has a simple goal for the season.
“We want to try and win as many home games as possible,” Jones said.
“At the very least we want to take a point from each home game.”
Jones wants the Tigers to play through the midfield more and named Kieran Doran and Kalen Spillane as integral to the team’s success.
He said his players knew they faced a tough test first up against Leeton.
“Leeton are a good side. We know what to expect when we play them,” he said
“We know they're quick going forward and they give Adam Raso a lot of ball.
“He’s Leeton’s key player and he’s always improving.
“In saying that, we have the quality to shut him down.”
Kick-off is at 7pm.
