Kieran Doran (2), David Kinsella, Liam Kavanagh and Dean Kelly were on target for the Tigers, who rarely had their net threatened.
Despite the big winning margin, Yenda coach Rhys Jones said the Tigers only performed well in patches.
“I know it sounds bad because we won 5-0, but the boys know they can play a lot better,” he said.
“We scored five goals, but we probably should’ve scored a lot more.”
Jones said South Wagga adopted a defensive mentality for the clash.
“They came and they parked the bus,” Jones said.
“At times they had four, five players behind the ball on top of their backline.
“Trying to break down a team with nine or 10 defenders is quite hard. But when we brought the ball down, the goals we scored were quite well worked.”
