The 22-year-old was involved in a physical altercation with a 19-year-old man.
Police allege there was tension between the men inside a Griffith hotel which turned physical when they left at closing time.
The 22-year-old is alleged to have used his belt as a weapon while the 19-year-old is alleged to have kicked his combatant when he fell to the ground.
Griffith Police were patrolling nearby at the time of the incident and both men were quickly arrested. They have both been charged with affray.
