Last week we decided to take my four-year-old son for a drive to see some of the impressive Christmas lights on display around Griffith.
The Clifton Boulevard home of Ray Pagano was the third house we came across. My son, Cael, did not want to leave.
Ray's home really is a magical wonderland for young children.
My son loved the strobe lights that he could dance in and he could not stop laughing as he jumped around in the artificial snow.
The best part about Christmas for a parent is seeing the magic through a child's eyes.
Every time my son's eyes light up at the sight of Christmas lights, or Santa Claus or the sound of a Christmas carol I am taken back to my own childhood.
It was also heart-warming to see the enjoyment Mr Pagano got simply from putting smiles on young people's faces at his home.
If you have a chance, drop by Mr Pagano's home because it is the last time the undisputed Christmas light king will set up his impressive display.
