FEDERAL member for Riverina Michael McCormack remains in the same position he was appointed to in September last year following the Commonwealth's ministry reshuffle on Sunday.

The release of next year's cabinet detailed various changes, but Mr McCormack remained as the parliamentary secretary to the minister for finance as part of the first Abbott Ministry, which he sworn into on September 18, 2013.
Mr McCormack denied any disappointment about being static in the ministry.
"People will note only Liberal party people changed," Mr McCormack said.
"I'm more than happy doing what I'm doing, it's an honour."
Mr McCormack outlined additional responsibilities in his finance portfolio, heading the non defence property portfolio next year.
"I'm busy arranging that," he said.
"My National Party colleagues have maintained their position because they're all doing their job."
Member for Farrer Sussan Ley was promoted to the cabinet as minister for health, and, minister for sport.

Scott Morrison was promoted to social services minister, which will have a renewed focus on families with the addition of childcare to the portfolio.
