Tragedy has again struck Western Riverina roads, with a 65-year-old Merriwagga man the latest loss in a string of fatal accidents in the region.

The man was killed when he collided with a road train between Hillston and Griffith on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the man was travelling west along Melbergen Road around 5.15pm, and when the Mitsubishi Triton ute reached the Back Hillston Road intersection it collided with a northbound road train.
Police and paramedics were called and arrived at the scene a short time later, however the man behind the wheel of the Triton died at the scene.
The driver of the road train - who is also 65 - wasn't injured in the crash.
Both vehicles have been collected by investigators and will undergo mechanical examination.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced on Wednesday and police from the Griffith Local Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the coroner.
The Merriwagga crash is the latest in a horrific three months for the region's road toll.
This man's death is the 11th since October 1 alone, when a 23-year-old Coleambally man was killed when he collided with a tree near Tharbogang.
Three days later, a two-year-old girl was fatally struck in the driveway of her Griffith home. Later that day, a 69-year-old Sydney motorcyclist died after crashing into an emu near Mount Hope.
A Darlington Point man was fatally injured in a Kidman Way crash on his way to work on October 14, and four days later a 25-year-old man died in a quad bike crash near Willbriggie.
In the afternoon of November 5 a man dies in a two-car collision on the Sturt Highway, 50km outside of Hay. Later that night, a 31-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash north of Hillston.
A fatal rollover on a Leeton residential street on December 4 saw two young people - 21-year-old Jake Isbister and 17-year-old Chloe Hardy - taken too soon.
