GRIFFITH coach Seru Rogo anticipates a player influx at the Blacks next season following the club's premiership win in the Southern Inland Rugby Union competition this year.
While the majority of his squad will return for 2015, Rogo expects the Blacks' title triumph to make them an attractive option for other players looking for a club.
"Footballers are like that," Rogo said.
"They want to play with a good team, and the door is always open here.
"If they're good enough, perform well and come to training and deserve a spot in first grade, then why not?"
The only downside Rogo can foresee is potential selection headaches.
"It's good to have that depth at the club, but at the same time it will be stressful and cause a few headaches for me if they're all good players and I can only pick 15," he said.
"But like I said, it's good for the club. That's the main thing."
Following the Blacks' annual general meeting last Wednesday, Rogo met with the playing group on Sunday to discuss pre-season training.
He said a decision was made to reconvene in the second week of December.
"At the moment we don't know if that will be to start training or just to get together. We'll decide that between now and then," he said.
"But speaking to the boys on Sunday, a couple of them have already started getting into their pre-season preparation.
"One thing they're happy about is that we're going to have the same group of players and same coaches next year."
In terms of training, Rogo said the Blacks would stick to the systems that delivered them premiership success this year.
"The training structures will be pretty much the same," he said.
"All I told them is that the things we did, it'll be easier for them to carry on next year because they know what to expect and will be able to get into it straight away."
