Centre Manager Racheal Best said they were hoping for another successful event on September 20.
“We had a really good market day back in June,” Miss Best said.
“It was great to see loyal customers come in and support local retailers.
“The atmosphere of our centre is evolving in a very positive way and as a shopping centre community we are all supporting the fusion our stores bring in a collaborative sense.
“We understand that people are conscious of how and where they spend their hard-earned dollars and we want to provide them with a meeting space that they feel comfortable in and service that directly meets their needs.”
That is why they have incorporated a kids corner for Market Day to keep the littlies entertained with loads of free activities and Racheal will be face-painting.
“Griffin Plaza is a centre where our customers can do their groceries, catch up with friends for a coffee and something to eat, get in a little retail therapy and know that the kids are having a ball without forking out more than they need to spend elsewhere,” Ms Best said.
Individual stores have some great one day only sales and specials and there are also plenty of give-aways within the Market Day celebrations.
“The day is a great way of showcasing our new-look Coles store whilst supporting the diverse array of specialties and a wonderful assortment of scrumptious food and exceptional service to boot,” Ms Best said.
Spend, spin and win is the order of the day on Saturday. Spend a little money at one of the participating stores, take your receipt over to spin for a chance to win a free gift or a Griffin Plaza voucher.
Market Day gift vouchers are redeemable until the end of September.
