Wayne Paton was last seen on August 13 at a Hillston property, where he works as a brush cutter.
Police said a co-worker reported the 56-year-old man missing last Wednesday.
Extensive searches by police and SES have so far failed to locale the man.
Police said while Mr Paton was reclusive, it was unusual for him to leave the property for a longer period of time without notice.
Police are urging anyone with information about Mr Paton's whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.police.nsw.gov.au.
Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
