Council is considering decreasing the speed limit from 100km/h to 80km/h on Rankins Springs Road from Whybrow Street to Rifle Range Road.
It is also considering increasing the speed limit from 50km/h to 60km/h along Wakaden Street from Whybrow Street to the Blumer Avenue roundabout and increasing the speed limit from 50km/h to 60km/h along Walla Avenue from the Watson/Spence roads roundabout to Mansell Road.
Council road safety officer Greg Balind asked residents to provide input on the proposed changes.
"NSW Roads and Maritime Services has also proposed to shorten the current length of the 50km/h zone through the Beelbangera village by 300 metres extending to the south (towards Griffith) based on complaints received about the length," Mr Balind said.
"Additionally, council will propose a decrease of the speed limit of 100km/h along Calabria Road from Citrus Road to Rankins Springs Road."
