A MAN has been charged with a number of offences after firearms and property, believed to have been stolen, were seized from a Beelbangera home.

Griffith police executed at a search warrant at the home on Simms Road just after 4pm on Tuesday, as part of a investigation into break-ins at a nearby rifle range on April 27 and 29.
A number of items were stolen during the incident.
Police say nine firearms - including two semi-automatic weapons - were seized at the home, along with a quantity of ammunition and property suspected of being stolen.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to Griffith police station where he was charged with multiple firearm and property offences.
He was refused bail and will appear in Griffith Local Court on Wednesday.
