Hosted by the MIA Cat Club, the event gave locals cat lovers the opportunity to show off their treasured felines.
The club’s Christine Tomlinson said locals performed well among the 70 entrants from Victoria, NSW and the ACT.
“The Jeffersons won a couple of awards and their daughter, Natalie, won the junior handler award and the judges spoke very highly of her level of knowledge for a 12-year-old,” Mrs Tomlinson said.
“Michelle Lorenzi did well with her Abyssinian – there were a lot of locals who scored well.”
The Tomlinsons also won best in show with their Chocolate Point Siamese.
Rod Hicks from the MIA Cat Club was pleased with the day.
“It all went very smoothly and we all enjoyed it,” Mr Hicks said.
“We had a great day.”
Mr Hicks said numbers were down this year, which could be attributed to the fact the event was held earlier, during a busy period of shows.
