Following Hanwood's best performance of the year last Saturday when it posted 301 thanks mainly to Tom Shannon's maiden century, the side needs to make hay while the sun is shining.
Hanwood's Brendan Hicken said his side was extremely focused on getting a win and would push for an outright victory if it gained ascendancy toward the beginning of play.
"An outright (win) is a long way away because they have such a good batting line-up, we're not over-confident," Hicken said.
"At this time of year, this match is a must win for our confidence and to give us any chance of making the finals.
"The batsmen have done a great job to get us to 300, which is a hefty total and a tough one to chase, but our bowlers need to come out firing."
Coro will make one change this week, as Peter Taprell makes way for Jonathon Morris.
Coro captain Tim Rand said his side also had a win firmly in their sights, although he was wary of Hanwood's bowling attack.
"This will be our first crack at chasing in a two-dayer this season but we only need four runs per over, which is very gettable on Exies No.2," Rand said.
"The focus will be on making sure we bat all 70 overs, which will require seeing off Tom West, Dean Wynne and their handy spinners through the middle.
"If we bat well we will get the win."
