Three hairdressers have been broken into in less than a week with thousands of dollars of goods stolen.
Last Thursday, the front window to Yambil Street salon Foxy Locks was smashed and thieves stole a number of GHD hair straighteners as well as two televisions that were mounted on the walls.
Then over the weekend, two top block salons were broken into.
Between 4.30pm on Saturday and 9am Monday, the door to Cosmopolitan Hair, Skin and Body was jimmied open and thieves broke in.
Within the same time frame, Glamour Salon was also targeted.
The total loss at both salons is still being tallied.
Police have urged anyone who saw anything or may have information to come forward, while Foxy Locks salon owner Richard Brewer reminded people that buying or possessing stolen goods is an offence.
After his salon was broken into in November last year, Mr Brewer is losing faith in the Griffith community.
"For these thieves to have been in our window unscrewing the TVs, someone must have seen something and decency must prevail," Mr Brewer said.
"Somebody must know something and if they do, and they don't say anything, I hope they can live with themselves."
Mr Brewer believes the crime was well-planned.
"They knew exactly what they were after and what they were doing," he said. "We need to get rid of these people."
Anyone with information has been urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Griffith Police Station on 6969 4299.
