Griffith kids keep Santa posted

GOOD little boys and girls in Griffith hoping to receive a visit from Santa this Christmas can let him know exactly what they have on their wish list.

All they have to do is post their letter to Santa by dropping it in to the special mailbox at Griffith City Library.

But as we all know, the jolly old fellow is extremely busy at this time of the year and the letters will need to be posted by Friday, December 13.

His trusty elves will then deliver the letter to the North Pole, where, if children have included their name and address, Santa will reply.

Griffith City Library's Monica Dickie said last year more than 100 letters had been posted.

"Everyone is welcome to post their letters here," she said.

"The most important thing to remember is to include your name and address and get it in soon so that Santa has enough time to reply.

“He is very, very busy at the North Pole, but he still finds time to write back, which is pretty special.”

With the help of his mum, little Finley Wallace, 4, put pen to paper on Wednesday to ask Saint Nick for a kayak or motorbike.

He is hoping to hear from Santa soon.
