CUSTOM cars, boutique beers and excellent entertainment are all expected to come together for the Riverina Motor Show at the showgrounds on Saturday.
The Griffith Custom and Classic Car Club (GCCCC) along with East Griffith Rotary and the showground trust had high hopes of eclipsing the rave reviews of last year’s inaugural show.
Organisers were buoyed to have more than 200 cars and motorcycle entrants, eclipsing the 177 on show last year.
Greg Salvestro from the GCCCC said one of the highlights will be a wheel changing competition.
“We’ll have a car raised up and teams of two will race to take wheels off a car, swap them around and put them back on again,” Mr Salvestro said.
“There are great prizes on offer for male and female teams and like everything else on the day, all you have to do is turn up.
“It promises to be a great day with some exceptional cars that will definitely wow the audience.”
The show opens at 8am for entrants and 10am for the public and will run until 5pm in the afternoon.
