A 19-YEAR-OLD woman will face Griffith Local Court today after the drug ICE, cash, a shotgun and ammunition were seized from a Yambil Street unit.
Police raided the unit on Tuesday afternoon following on from the arrest of a 38-year-old woman earlier in the morning, who was charged with possession of ICE.
At the unit, police arrested the 19-year-old and later charged her with supply prohibited drug, deal in proceeds of crime, possession of suspected stolen goods, possession of an unauthorised firearm and possession of ammunition.
She was refused bail to appear before Griffith Local Court on Wednesday.
Police will allege an indictable quantity of ICE, large amount of cash, equipment connected with the supply of prohibited drugs, suspected stolen property, a shotgun and ammunition were seized from the unit.
A 31-year-old male returned to unit during the raid, however fled on seeing police.
Detectives are on the hunt for the man, who may assist them with enquires.
The 38-year-old woman was given bail and will appear before Griffith Local Court on November 13.
Griffith LAC Crime Manager Paul Smith said raids of this nature would not be possible without community assistance.
"We rely heavily on information from the public in the fight against drugs and other crime," Detective Inspector Smith said.
