The Griffith Community Services Road Map is now available to help locals find out what is available and where to locate it.
The project was made possible thanks to a Clubs NSW grant from the Griffith Leagues Club.
Griffith Connections, Griffith Neighbourhood House and Griffith City Council partnered to make the two-year project a reality.
Griffith Connections’ Marg Andreazza said the handy tool would make its way into homes this week when around 12,000 Griffith Lions Club phone books go out.
“We wanted to make this information easily accessible to the Griffith community,” Mrs Andreazza said. “We thought we’d partner with the Lions Club because their phone books are about to go out again.
“It gives an easy, quick overview of what is available in Griffith.
“It is as comprehensive as we could possibly make it.”
On the map are the locations and contact numbers of emergency services, health, education, aged care, youth, multicultural, family services, disability services, housing and legal, bus lines and council services.
Leah Walsh from The Articulate Pear used her graphic design skills to help create the road map.
The map will also be available from various city council facilities, including the library and tourist information centre.
You can also pick it up from Griffith Neighbourhood House.
