RESIDENTS have the opportunity to send a pre-election message to council after the launch of a special The Area News online questionnaire today.
The 16-question survey asks respondents to rate each councillor from "very poor" to "very good" based on their performance this term.

It also asks residents to select their preferred mayor and comment on how much councillors should be paid, also posing a range of questions about how well council operates.
The full results of the survey will be published in The Area News next month and help set the agenda ahead of the September 8 poll.
Former councillor and three-time independent candidate for state parliament Tom Marriott said it was critical ratepayers had input into the performance of council.
"Not enough people take an interest and the community can hardly complain when very few attend council meetings or put their hands up at election time," Mr Marriott said.
"We need a cross-section of residents to be involved so council reflects what's important to Griffith."
The questionnaire will be open for the next three weeks.
