IT’S the biggest day of your life, but getting married can also be the most stressful with so much to organise and never enough time to do it all.
But local couples will breathe a sigh of relief this weekend with The Area News 22nd annual Your Wedding fair set to be the answer to all bride-to-be’s prayers.
Whether you’ve just got engaged or are on the cusp of tying the knot, the fair has everything a bride and her groom needs to plan their perfect day.
“It’s growing every year and this year will be one of our biggest,” The Area News manager Lyn Urquhart said.
“I encourage everyone who is even thinking of getting married to come down and look at what’s on offer.
“There are a huge variety of stallholders to cater to every bride’s needs and some great prizes to be won.”
More than 30 stalls will pack the Griffith Ex-Serviceman’s Club on Sunday from 11am, featuring everything from dresses to photographers, hairdressers and even wedding stationary.
There will also be two fashion parades showing off some beautiful bridal gowns and children’s wear.
Brides will be able to take advantage of one-off specials and one lucky couple will walk away with a major prize of $2000 to spend in Mackays Furniture One. Other fair-goers could also go home winners with $2000 in prizes up for grabs for those who drop their The Area News coupons into the barrel at the event.
To win the prizes, entrants must be at the fair when they are drawn and engaged couples can register for the major prize on the day.
