THE GRIFFITH Black and Whites have taken out this year’s League Tag Knockout at Coleambally on Sunday with a 7-0 win over West Wyalong in the final.
Coached by new first-grade recruit Jeco Makatoa, the side’s knockout campaign began with a classy 16-0 shutout of the Yenda Blueheelers.
A tense 10-10 draw with Leeton followed, with Griffith getting up by virtue of scoring the first try.
The Black and Whites then ran over the top of host club Darlington Point-Coleambally 18-4 in the semifinal before their triumph in the decider.
